Emmanuel Bajra, chairman of the Kosovo Trust Pension Savings Board, has declared that it opposes attracting personal means of savings.
I'm against these verUST concessions. That's because RRUST should be understood as a savings entity and not an investor, not when we get to go and get the money, because it also affects the value of itsTRUTS, but it also affects the future of any Kosovo contributor. So I didn't recommend it”, Bajra declared it to the DPS at Fidan.
Kosovo citizens have had the right to withdraw their savings from the Trust after a decision taken in 2020. This decision was made due to the worsening financial situation of families in Kosovo, due to the coronary pandemic.
An estimated 200m euros of over 420 thousand taxpayers had been withdrawn from the Trust.
All employees in Kosovo pay 10 percent of their pension contributions: 5 percent of the total salary is paid by the employer from his budget, while 5 percent are paid by the worker's salary.
