This achievement was made possible thanks to co-operation between the Vascular Surgery Clinic and the doctor, Dimitrios Nikas, of the University of Janina in Greece.
The director of this clinic, Hajriz Rudari, has shown how this intervention went.
“Today we've chosen three patients, all three of the male gender, are over 70 years old... the first patient to have been interviewed was 72 years old with chronic diseases that forced us to become this form of intervention. The intervention has lasted about two and a half hours because it has been the pathology of the patient more complicated than we have expected and gone successfully, we thank and Professor Dimitrios Nikas from the University of Janine in Greece, as well as Dr. Lulzim Vokri and Dr Luan Jaha, as well as other Vascular colleagues who have assisted in the case”, Rudari said.
In contrast to the past, the intervention he said is less invasive and the patient does not inflict more wounds as well as bloodshed, as was done in the open.
