The president of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, hosted the European Union's Ambassador to Kosovo, Aivo Orav, with whom she talked about the latest developments in the country, the election process and further steps for the institution of new institutions, following the February 9th elections.
In this direction, President Osmani expressed gratitude for the commitment and presence of the EU Monitoring Mission.
A series of visits by senior European Union officials, who are expected to visit Kosovo in the coming weeks and months, were also discussed at the meeting. These visits will be a good opportunity for further strengthening of co-operation between Kosovo and the EU, especially in key areas of development and European integration.
President Osmani stressed the importance of common commitment to advancing the country's strategic priorities, with particular focus on strengthening democratic institutions and accelerating Kosovo's European path.
In this case, President Osmani reaffirmed once again the importance of removing unfair measures, which are ultimately damaging Kosovo citizens.
