The Electoral Panel for Ances and Parashtesa has rejected the candidate's complaint for MPs from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo's ranks, Agron Kuci, which concerned allegations of irregularities during the diaspora vote management for the February 9th elections.

According to the PZAP decision, the complaint filed on March 18th 2025 was dismissed as unaffordable, after being handed out of the 48-hour legal deadline from the alleged moment of violation, as envisioned in Article 105 of the Kosovo Election Law.

The document stresses that the final results of the diaspora vote counting were published by the Central Election Commission on March 4th 2025, while complaints were handed in 14 days later, exceeding the legal deadline.

In his complaint, Kuci had claimed abuses and legal violations in the process of voting by the diaspora, demanding reopening and recounting ballots that had been declared invalid by the CEC.

He argued that a considerable part of the vote by fellow countrymen from Junik and other political subjects, including the Democratic League of Kosovo, had been unjustly rejected.

However, P ZAP has stressed that the request for reopening these ballot papers cannot be considered due to the delay in submitting the complaint.

Under the rules, Kuci has the right to complain this decision to the Supreme Court of Kosovo within 48 hours of his accession./Paparace
