The announcement was made by the Government Commission for Missing Persons.
According to them during excavations in the village of Obranqa, the Podujevo municipality, the Government Commission for Missing Persons in co-operation with the Law Medicine Institute (IML) and the Kosovo Police, have encountered bones that allegedly may be persons from the list of people missing with violence during the war in Kosovo.

Today, during excavations in the village of Obranqa, the Podujevo municipality, the Government Commission for Missing Persons in collaboration with the Kosovo Legal Medicine Institute (IML) and Police, have encountered at remains allegedly from the list of people missing with violence during the war in Kosovo.
Currently, the remains found are being examined by IML experts, with the aim of correct identification.
These excavations were made on the basis of information that citizens had shared at the end of January, for which we are grateful.
The Government Commission for Missing Persons expresses its continued commitment to whitewashing every missing person's fate and encourages citizens to continue offering valuable information. For any additional information, citizens can contact the Commission.
