Orav: We are ready to move on to dialogue, Sorensen reports to the EU what he saw in Pristina

The chief of the European Union in Kosovo, Aivo Orav, has spoken of the EU special envoy's visit to Kosovo dialogue Serbia, Peter Sorensen, about two weeks ago in Pristina. Orav said that by personally recognising Sorensen, he in his report wrote what he saw and heard in Pristina, [...]
Orav said that by personally recognising Sorensen, he in his report wrote what he saw and heard in Pristina, as he added that “ne write and report exactly what we see and hear and make proposals how to move on.
His first “visit to Kosovo has only been to ask questions. It has not come with any proposals, and I believe the same has happened in Belgrade. He's back, he's consulting with colleagues, maybe even with member states, maybe even the hierarchy, and he's hoping he'll come up with new ideas”
From our perspective, the European Union, we are ready to move because we have the new Commission and they are interested in moving forward with this normalisation process. Sorensen and the new Commission, they're interested and I hope we have the new government soon because everyone here believes who will create the government, but we want to be sure that they will be the ones who will work”, Orav said in an exclusive interview on the “Info Magazine”, broadcast Periscope.
Furthermore, he said normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia is necessary for both countries to move on, while adding that agreements reached so far must be implemented.
I think those agreements that are connected should be implemented. So those deals, I understand, are about 90 deals and, of course, 1/3 have been implemented, 1/3 so, and a pretty large part of them haven't been implemented”.
So they have to be implemented because if there's no will on either side to implement the specific elements, there's no need to be done by zero. They must be implemented, so Sorensen has come here to learn from his counterparts, the government, the president, the opposition, NGOs, the business community what could be done”, he said. /Periscope/
