Operation “Bephasia”: Narcotics Narcotics Narcotics, a person gets caught

Kosovo police have conducted a successful operation in the town of Mitrovica, as part of a tactical plan called “Bephasia”, which aims at fighting organised crimes and trafficking of narcotics. Investigators from the Directorate for Investigation of Narcotics Trafficking ão Mitrovica South, in co-operation with the Speed Response Unit, have realised a planned search at a house and watch facilities in Mitrovica's Kolon district.
During this operation, they have been seized:
24 bags of suspected narcotic substance of cocaine (7.5 grams).
6 bags of marijuana - type narcotics (68.7 grams).
4 Ecstasine (2.2 grams).
Empty bags for packaged narcotics in small quantities.
1 mobile phone was allegedly used for illegal activities.
A Regional Cremtechnic team has conducted the photographing, investigation and sequencing material evidence, while investigators have arrested the suspect, who has been interviewed in the presence of the defence attorney.
After the interview, and in line with an arrest warrant by the Mitrovica Foundation Court, the suspect has a two-year prison sentence for the criminal act of narcotics trafficking.

Currently, the suspect has surrendered to the Pristina Pristina Pristina Pristina Pristina Pristina Centre for Punishment of Punishment.
“This action is another important step in the ongoing fight against organised crimes and narcotics trafficking, testifying to the commitment of order institutions and safety for the protection of citizens and the prevention of criminal activities that endanger the health of youth”, the report said.
Kosovo police remain committed to uncovering and preventing any criminal activity that threatens security and public order.
