The Constitutional Court in Pristina has continued the detention move for another two months, Dragisa and Jovan Viqejjevicq, suspected of attacking November 29th 2024 in the Iber-Lepenc channel in Varag of Zubin-Potok.
Mirlinda Gashi, spokeswoman for the Constitutional Court in Pristina, has confirmed this.
After the request of the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo for continuing the detention measure in the criminal case against indictees J.V. and D.V., the Constitutional Court in Pristina, the Special Department, aged 28.02.2025, has received the verdict and approved the SPRK's request, so that the detention measure of indictees J.V. and D.V., was continued in length of two months, for each”, it has all gone.
According to the Special Prosecutor's File of the Republic of Kosovo, Jovan Vifjevic allegedly along with his brother, Dragisa Viqejevic, have deliberately damaged the water supply and carried out the terrorist work, using explosives.
Otherwise, the explosion in the Iber-Lepenci water channel in the village of Zubin-Potok, which allegedly took place with about 20kg of explosives, Kosovo authorities have named it a terrorist attack and said Serbia is responsible. The attack was also severely condemned by internationals.
