During this visit, Kaitanovic met with President Vjosa Osmani Sadriou, Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca.

The secretary-general stressed the RCC's commitment to promoting regional co-operation and integration through its strategic initiatives. These include the Action Plan for Common Regional Market (CRM), the Green Environment for the Western Balkans and the South East Europe Strategy 2030 (SEE2030) a joint effort of the 13 economies of the Southeast European Co-operation Process (SEECP).

“The RCC is committed to promoting regional dialogue and co-operation as a catalyst for economic growth, stability and prosperity in Southeast Europe. Our work focuses that regional agendas that facilitate implementation bring tangible and citizens-oriented results. Successful implementation of the CRM, the Green Agency and SEE2030 requires joint determination, strong institutional partnerships and commitment to overcome common challenges,” said Kaitanovic.

Officials in Pristina praised the RCC's work in facilitating regional agendas, particularly its commitment to inclusion, and reaffirmed their support for the organisation's future plans and activities.

Last night in Pristina, The RCC organised and hosted the award-sharing ceremony “Emporting Women of the Year 2017 in the Western Balkans”, acknowledging the extraordinary contribution of six prominent women from our region to economic development.
