Arton Demhay from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo has accused the ruling party of deliberately dragging the process of creating new institutions after the elections, describing this as an attempt to lead the country towards extraordinary elections.

He declared that the incumbent government is exploiting the situation to continue governance and make new public appointments.

Demhayan has added that opposition parties, P The DK, LDK and AAK are more likely to form the government than the Vetevendosje Movement, which, according to him, does not have the parliamentary majority to govern.

This is confirming because they are still ruling, making decisions, they are continuing to make high public appointments. On the other hand, from the moment the election result is certified, the procedure of constitutionalisation should be initiated, which should be concluded with the oath of all MPs, at the same time with the selection of the governing structures of the Assembly that are the deputy chairman, chairman and full leadership. After this moment the president has the right to grant the mandate to the first ruling party, the first ruling party apparently does not currently have the parliamentary majority. If the first party fails, then the mandate automatically passes to the second party. President must give mandate to the second party, and the second party in this case The PDK can even create a parliamentary majority. Based on the numbers that are currently in the Parliament, I think opposition parties have the opportunity to create a government, because the numbers of the three opposition parties, The PDK, the LDK and AAK are larger than the VV's with its partners in the coalition”, he has said of EconomyOnline Periscope

Demhaya stressed that tense relations between the VV and opposition parties make a co-operation between them impossible to establish government.

The much bigger option, therefore, is for opposition parties in case they show will and co-operation to create government than the government is created by the VV. Add to this that the ruling party has repeatedly offended opposition parties, and this has in some way made it impossible for any of the opposition parties to go to the VV and to do the numbers. So we have the political scene divided into two blocks which is VV with its partners and the opposition block, but the numbers around here are much bigger. The odds are for opposition parties to create a new government”, he said.

Demhaja also warned government efforts to postpone the process of establishing new institutions, aimed at holding extraordinary elections in the autumn, along with local elections.

The “Creates an impression they are aiming to postpone the elections as much as possible, likely to postpone elections around autumn, so that they can announce the extraordinary parliamentary elections that would be held together with local elections. That's what their goal is, their purpose. But I believe this should not be tolerated under any circumstances, given the CEC, that only parliamentary elections failed to manage properly. I added this to local elections, which means it's a process that can be in trouble. I think that for this reason opposition parties in no circumstances allow the ruling party to drag the process of establishing institutions to lead the country to extraordinary elections”, he has said.
