The deputy chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lutfi Haziri, says they will not be included in any governing coalition with Vetevendosje Movement.
According to him, if the latter as the winning election party fails to form the executive and turn goes to other parties, then they are open to see the possibility of forming the government.
However, as Haziri points out, the government should be led by Lumir Abdijxhiku and the focus be on the LDK's election programme. However, he claims that at Abdixhik's meetings with PDK chairman Memli Krasniqi and AAK Chairman Ramush Haradinaj have not been discussed, but only has the current political situation been found, broadcasts Periscope.
In this regard, Haziri says “The LDK will not hold anyone's back in the interest of Kosovo at all, nor in its interest”. However, he also points to the risk of the country going into a new political crisis.
Haziri claims they will respect the outcome and trust given by citizens, yet repeat his famous phrase that the future government's “formation is passed by LDK offices”.
Our role is ʹas-assa, must be read correctly. It's not conditioned and there's no communication. The only lack of communication the LDK now has with LVV. Neither party co-operation nor institutional co-operation in the Assembly has become unilateral by LDK. As long as co-operation has been read it is something else, but we have acted for greater political purposes. We're in the same position now. “On the other hand, the report with the second parties and other parties in the Assembly, AAK-Nisma and ethnic minorities we have co-operation and communication as long as this election process is needed. But on my back, you're no longer carrying someone. The LDK in these 25 years has kept all political parties on its back. The first has given him the third, and has also emerged second led the government and every political formula that has been in Kosovo. The LDK has capitalised it in Kosovo's interest and much less in its own interest. These offices you're seeing still remained the office of the prime minister and president. Again why do we have that role? We are not arrogant in politics and do not politically blackmail”, Haziri told Kosovo Press.
Haziri, after confirming Abdixhik's meetings with leaders of other opposition parties, says the LDK is the primary harmonisation of the government programme, but according to him, the party leader should lead the government.
However, Haziri says the LDK should not be pressured publicly by anyone to make the government with PDK and AAK-Nisma.
Commenting on allegations by AAK President Ramush Haradinaj that the LDK has a blocking position in forming government by the opposition, Haziri emphasises these positions do not expect from those who have history of co-operation with the LDK and who want ways of co-operation.
