My stance on Kosovo has not changed since I was a Chancellor. I support dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, as well as implementation of agreed measures. At the same time, it is certain that the protection of the Serb minority must be secured”, Cuz stressed in a statement to Kosovo Online.
He stressed that he remains convinced that the EU is not complete until the Western Balkan countries are part of it.
However, he says he is concerned there will be little progress until the war in Ukraine is over.
Speaking of the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kurz said he hopes in reasonable actions on all sides, adding that it is necessary to analyse the wrong developments in the past 30 years.
“I am following developments in Bosnia and Herzegovina and I hope for reasonable action by all”, he underlined.
He noted that Bosnia and Herzegovina's territorial integrity and sovereignty should not be questioned.
When it comes to the geopolitical situation, Kurz said the talks between Russia and the US, as well as the exchange of prisoners, are the first step towards de- escalation.
The fact that the EU is not on the table is its fault, because Brussels refuses to speak with Putin”, he said.
