His nephew, Hashim Thaci's son Andrew, has also reacted to this.
“Bacci closed his eyes quietly after his last encounter with Dad. You've always been an inspiration to me and my family. Suffering from injustice made it impossible to cope. Rest in peace.” wrote Andrew.
His loss has sparked numerous reactions, while condolences for the Thaci family are starting to flow from familiar figures and numerous citizens.
