The Koran's dispute has repeatedly sparked strong reactions to Muslims, who consider it offensive and provocative to their faith.
Some social networking users have strongly condemned the act, calling it a violation of religious values and demanding intervention of competent institutions to take measures against the person involved.
It must be remembered that the man who sparked violent protests after the burning of the holy Koran book was shot to death in Sweden at the end of January 2025.
Salwan Momika, 38-year-old, has reportedly been killed in an apartment in Sodertalje, Stockholm.
He had sparked major riots after burning copies of the Koran outside the Stockholm Central Mosque in 2023.
