Kurtish said that this number compared to a year ago is about 50 more patients.
In 2024 we have recorded about 2150 cancer cases, especially the same number as in 2023. Even though we had months during 2023 when there was a rise or registration of new cases more and another few months we've had a discount but we have a total number of the same 2150 cases in both years, and that's a good sign since there's stability. But what we're worried about is that these first two months of 2025 we've recorded 360 cases or clinics have first shown about 360 new cases of cancer of different kinds and it's about 50 more patients than in 2024 so it's a trend as it seems to be on the rise so we have an increase of these” numbers, Kurtishi told Blic newspaper, broadcast Periscope.
The “So it was in the first 2024 months, but then during the next 2024 months it was a little lower and it comes down that we could have a trend that eventually amounts to the same number. But we're going to compare to the first six months and we're going to have some more accurate data and better results that tell us if we're going to have an increase in the number of cancer cases, even though in all countries in the region there are rising cases or we have higher insulin compared to the previous years as a result of various factors that are responsible for those diseases” stated Kurtiish.
