Britain's coastal guard has launched an emergency response following reports of a collision between an oil tank and a cargo ship on the North Sea off the northeast coast of England.
The U.K. Coast Guard said it sent a helicopter and rescue boats from nearby cities to respond to the incident.
The alarm was recorded at 9:48 a.m. local time and is not known why the accident occurred.
