Representatives of the Vetevendosje Movement say that with the actual results of the vote counting, diaspora and conditional votes, they will be able to form the government as the only party along with non-Serb communities.
Agon Batusha from the Vetevendosje Movement said that the party's stance is firm as regards non-co-operation with the Serbian List.
“We are waiting for the count being made in the counting centres and believe that with these numbers and votes of the exile and votes of the disabled we will believe we will get the sufficient number of votes and then the MPs to make the Government solely a political subject, of course in agreement with the minority communities, but we must refocus that it is not about the Serbian list, we will not discuss with the Serbian List, but the MPs from other parties in non- us, Batsa said.
Asked what if they fail to form the government, Batusha said that in this case they would rather move into opposition than form any coalition with other opposition parties.
“They have put their own red lines before we speak and there is, of course, little left to comment, but the VV position has still been ahead of the elections and continues to be that with their current opposition parties and positions on Kosovo processes, and especially for the north, Vetting and the Bureau for the seizure of property has left little room for discussion with them about future governance, but this is still a very unlikely scenario since the numbers show that the VV will make the government its own. If we can't make the government then the most likely are to stay in opposition rather than have a coalition with a political subject that doesn't go too hard when it comes to Serbia”, Batusha told RTV21.
