A Suspect Arrested for Photographing of Reporting

A person allegedly photographing the ballot sheet at a polling station in Gjilan has been arrested by police. The state prosecutor after the interview has ordered that the case initiated as “cension of voting secrecy” be processed in regular procedure.

Around 7:35 minutes, Kosovo Police have reported that within a polling station located in Gjilan, a voter allegedly photographed the ballot sheet while inside the voting booth has been spotted by centre observers.

“Conform of legal obligations and official authorisations, KP officials have arrested the suspect within the polling centre and the same has been accompanied by regional investigators at NJHP premises, where he has even been interviewed in the presence of defence lawyer”, police point out.
