Kosovo police, namely the Environmental Crimes Investigation Unit from the DHKOKR, in co-operation with the Constitutional Prosecutor in Gjilan, have taken investigative action against the suspected initial person (D.H.), under suspicion of illegal excavations in a protected archaeological area.
“On the date 13,02.2025, based on the Constitutional Court's ordinance in Gjilan, has been conducted in the local and the suspect's house, where illegally unearthed archaeological findings were found and seized”, the report said.
