Scandal at Belgrade Airport: Portuguese girl mistreated for wearing an Albanian flag shirt

A Portuguese girl who was in transit to Amsterdam has faced an unacceptable treatment by Serbian authorities.

According to her testimony, recorded in an online published video, security workers have banned and mistreated her only because she wore a T-shirt with the symbol of the Albanian flag and the figure of national hero Gjergji Kanderbeu.

The Portuguese girl's video has received widespread attention on social networks and has caused numerous reactions.

Renowned journalist Blendi Fevziu has distributed images of the incident, naming its treatment unacceptable and an indication of the discrimination approach in Serbia to Albanian symbols.
