This statement prompted reactions among viewers, who returned a long-circulating theory: According to her, artists thank Beyonce for fearing its influence on the music industry, writes DailyMail.
Cyrus, who had won a Grammy earlier that night for her co-operation with Beyonce in “II Most Wanted”, began its presentation with: “We won Beyonce! ” and then he said: “Even if it's not you, I can tell it's Beyonce”, causing laughter. In the end, the award went to Kendrick Lamar.
This theory, popular in TikTok, claims that the superstar is so powerful that artists feel compelled to mention it in their speeches.
Even though there is no evidence supporting this theory, the fans commented on social networks: “Mike mentioned Beyonce twice... reminded me of the conspiracy theory”. “Why does every artist have to thank Beyonce? ” “Miley doesn't want an artist, so he thanked”.
