The main tube explodes, the volcano remains without drinking water

Regional water pipeline company “Mitrovica” has announced that as a result of the main pipe explosion, the entire town of Vushtrria and villages up to Grace have remained without drinking water supplies.

The report says that Doberluka and Smrekonica are also without water as network maintenance teams are making efforts to offer a temporary solution for tonight.

“As a consequence of the 700 mm main tube explosion in the version of the Vushtrri, near “EMONA”, the whole city of Vushtrri, as well as villages up to Grace, have been left without a drink supply. Similarly, Doberluka and Smrekonica are without water. Network maintenance teams are on the scene and are making efforts to provide a temporary solution for this night. The main work of the tube's sanim, located at a depth of about 13 feet [4 m] below the surface of the earth, is expected to begin tomorrow”, says the announcement further.
