Social Democrat Initiative Chairman Fatmir Limaj has talked about the possibility of entering the coalition with Vetevendosje Movement and other parties after the elections.
Limaj argued that the Initiative and AAK are two separate parties and that their co-operation is not necessary in any political decision.
We need to understand that we are two political parties. We do not have to vote the same on various issues,” he said in Rtv Dukagujini.
Asked whether there were contacts for any possible coalition, Limaj said there were still no concrete moves by the major parties.
“We are small, once the big men for coalitions,” he said, recalling that even former President Ibrahim Rugova, with 46% of the vote, had negotiated for co-operation.
He added that the campaign has already ended and parties should sit at the table to discuss the country's political future.
