The Balaj family today has received the sad news of the death of their beloved, Professor Qaush Balaj.
The news was made known by his friends on Facebook.
Balaj was one of the founders of the LDK branch in Istog and one of the prominent activists of Kosovo's freedom, independence and democracy movement.
He had a long life career, for many years he served as a professor of mathematics, head of the school in Zalq, a member of the Municipal Assembly for several mandates, head of the Municipal Assembly in Istog, and then deputy minister in the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, in which positions he served with devotion, honour and dignity.
