Kryeziu criticised the two institutions, stressing that Kosovo's independence is a national, non-religious event.

“As such should be marked by diplomatic representations institutionally, without involving religious organisations. This is a dangerous precedent and a failure of our diplomatic institutions abroad” has written amid the Kryeziu slaughter.

The Kosovo Consulate in Stuttgart, in co-operation with the Albanian Islamic Centre, has organised the 17th anniversary of Kosovo's Independence in Germany. It is a scandal of its kind, where a state institution co-operates with a religious institution to organise and mark a state event.

Kosovo's independence is national, non-religious, and as such should be marked by diplomatic representations institutionally, without involving religious organisations. This is a dangerous precedent and a failure of our diplomatic institutions abroad.
