This clarification has been provided by CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi, who has said that on the Voter List outside Kosovo are only the names of citizens who are registered to vote in any diplomatic representative.
The total number of registered voters to vote in 30 diplomatic representatives of the Republic of Kosovo is 20,324 voters.
“On diplomatic representation can only vote Kosovo citizens who have chosen this way of voting when they are registered as voters outside Kosovo, during the 29 August census period of December 26, 2024. So, on the Voter List outside Kosovo, which is sent to diplomatic representation, it is only the names of citizens who are registered to vote in any of the” diplomatic representatives, Elesi reported.
According to him, on the day of voting on 8 February, a voter registered to vote on diplomatic representation can be identified through the document identified by the Republic of Kosovo.
“After the CEC rule of registration and voting outside Kosovo, on the occasion of voting on diplomatic representation, the voter is identified through the identification document issued by the Republic of Kosovo, such as ID, passport or driver's license”, Elez said.
