CEC leader Kreshnik Radoniqi said that the passages will help develop infrastructure and digitalisation.
In last summer, we accepted from O The SBB software that helped us digitise many of the election operations, while accepting these modern servers marks further development of the CEC's infrastructure and is a continuation of the process of digitising election operations. This support is precious and will affect improving our infrastructure and advancing electoral standards in Kosovo. Also, given the role of the CEC, this donation is a major investment even in the integrity of the election process and in the citizens' confidence in the election process”, he added.
Germany's ambassador to Kosovo, Jörn Rohde, said digitalisation would be key in Sunday's elections.
“gjitisation will be key to this process. This donation of more than 140 thousand euros ensures secure elections”, he added.
