Kosovo police have conducted an action in the town of Gjilan at the order of the Court. The action has been held after allegedly a person without authorisation has worked works works in art.
In this regard, the Constitutional Prosecutor in Gjilan, together with the Kosovo Archaeological Institute, has conducted a search at the suspected person's bar.
During the action, 200 archaeological artifacts have been found and seized, out of which 80 coins are from the period of Roman, Byzantine, and medieval rule.
At the order of the state prosecutor, the defendant D.H. has been detained in the course of 48 hours after allegedly conducting unauthorised investigative activities at archaeological sites with detection devices.
The same is suspected of oversold criminal work since it has conducted excavations or archaeological research without authorisation of the competent body.
