News of his death was confirmed by his wife, Jean Delano, who said he died of a heart attack.
DeLano, who has been living in Las Vegas since 1992, is best known to modern audiences for his role as casino manager in the famous Oceans Elven and Ocean dealt films. Until recently, he was a regular singer in the famous Dispensary Lounge.
His career flourished in the 1970s, when he played fireman Sonny Caputo in the ABC Firehouse series. Although the series was canceled after only 13 episodes, it brought DeLano recognition.
