Turkish journalist Müge Dağıstanlı has discovered new payment figures for the most paid Turkish serial actors of this television season.

According to the report published in “Onedio”, the most sensational products of the moment such as “Eşref Rüya”, “Uzak queehir” and “Veliaht” have reached record costs for each episode, with budgets exceeding 25 million Turkish lira.

According to published data, the series “Eşref Rüya” costs about 26 million TL for episodes approximately 740 thousand euros. In it, actor Chağatay Ulusoy receives about 3.1 million TL (90 thousand euros) for episodes, while his partner Demet finishedmir takes about 2 million TL (57 thousand euros).

In the next series, “Uzak queehir”, the cost reaches 22 million TL per episode (about 628 thousand euros), while Kenan ãomirzalioğlu, who plays the lead, is paid at 4.4m TL (126 thousand euros) for episodes. In addition, Afra Saracoğlu benefits 2.4 million TL (69 thousand euros) for each film.

Meanwhile, the series “Veliaht” has a budget of around 20 million TL per episode (571 thousand euros), thus entering the list of the most expensive products of this television season in Turkey.

According to Daıstanlı, the increase in costs is linked to the tough competition between digital platforms and national channels competing for the most wanted actors in the Turkish entertainment market. /Periscope/
