According to The Guardian, Murray died on September 29. He first discovered that he was diagnosed with cancer in 2021 and had a tumor removed from his lungs. The following year, he indicated that his doctor had told him that lung cancer was “inherited” and that the tumor in the liver was “curred.
In 2023, however, Murray announced that his cancer had returned. I remember that they discovered another primary cancer last year”, he explained at the time.
The actor also found that he was subjected to artembolic transcatter (TACE), which is a procedure to limit the blood supply of a tumor. He had also removed half his liver along with the tumor.
“I thought I had a painful strain on my hip several months ago”, he said as he spoke of his diagnosis of cancer. This turned out to be the cancer that entered my hip and foot bones. He even entered my lymphatic system. ”
He leaves behind his second wife, Anong Murray, and his four children. He shares three of his children with his former wife, Shellley Wilkinson, who was married from 1981 to 1996.
