Elvis Aaron Presley was born in Tupelo, Mississippi 90 years ago, on January 8, 1935.

He was raised as the only child in the family because his twin brother, Jesse Garon, died at birth.

In 1948, Elvis moved with his parents to Memphis, Tennessee, where he finished high school in 1953.

A year later, he began his musical career with the company known as "Sun Records."

At the end of 1955, the rights to his songs were sold to the company RICA Victor.

When he reached the age of 21, he became an international sensation.

In 1958, there was an art break, for the artist joined the army, where he served for two years. Then he returned to his studio and success.

On May 1, 1967, he married Priscilla Ann Beauliew, with whom he had a daughter named Lisa Marie. The couple divorced in 1973.

To this day Elvis and his music are legendary.

Songs by artist Presley are a unique combination of various musical influences from the time of his youth, while with the creation of 150 albums and songs, he challenged the social and racial barriers of the day.

Elvis has sold over one billion albums worldwide, more than any other artist.

But his career was not just in music. Elvis Presley played in 33 successful films, including the Rockhouse in 1957.

Among the many assessments of Elvis music were 14 appointments for the price of "Grammy," three of which won them, as well as the Graim Award for career achievement, which he received at the age of 36.

Elvis died at his home in Memphis on 16 August 1977 at the age of 42.

He lived at his residence in Graceland for over 20 years. Fans from around the world visit the home of hit author “Love with Tender” and “fallin in Love with You”.
