According to the data, only the Palisades fire is approximately 37 square miles (23,713 hectares), being close to the size of Paris.
Meanwhile, the number of fire victims burning Los Angeles so far has gone to 24. Firefighters competed with the time to control active centres, profiting from wind softening, but authorities predict worsening conditions in the days ahead. The governor of Los Angeles said this could be the worst natural disaster in American history.
