This weekend, Durres police are investigating and conducting actions on a case of oil smuggling in large quantities.
According to sources from Durres customs for Tach, everything has started out from doubts about the ship “Aya Zanubya” that arrived at the UK port of Porto Romano with a declared cement load, but is being investigated for fuel smuggling after having doubts.
Meanwhile, police sources suggest to Top Channel that the police operation has led to several bans and announcements in search of several others.
Launched on December 26th by Gabe's Tunisian port, the ship allegedly collaborated with another vessel to carry out smuggling for financial gain purposes. Police are continuing to whitewash the entire way of organizing this illegal activity.
The crew and ship owner are under charge. “Aya Zanubya” is a cargo ship built in 1977, measuring 81.72 feet [ 81.72 m] in length and 141m in width.
