Requesting release from cell, court makes verdict on Safet Gjicin

After hearing the parties, the Court, composed of Justice Chief Samantha Lika, decided to bring down the mayor's request for release from the cell.
Court ruled:
- Bringing in Safet Djici's request for replacement.
- Researchers' work at court expenses.
- Allowing this decision to appeal to the Court of General Juriscition Tirana within 15 days of tomorrow's date, which is the date of the verdict's announcement.
Gjici, was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison for corruption by the Special Appeal Court, and claims he has already served three-quarters of the sentence. He was arrested after a video scandal showing him committing sexual acts with Alma Kaci in the municipal office. The scandal led to his resignation and arrest.
Gjitius was initially charged with abuse of office, but then Apel changed the charge to corruption, extending his sentence.
The court is expected to decide whether Gjici will be released on bail because of problems with the heart he claims to have.
