A police official and three other citizens have been arrested by Kosovo Police Inspectorate for narcotics possession.
Kosovo Police Inspectorate “investigators have been notified last night by Kosovo Police in a case of unauthorized narcotics possession where three citizens and a police official (out of official office) were suspected. Once IPK investigators received information, they were released at the scene where other police units were present, and prosecutor” reportedly.
The IPK says the case occurred last night before midnight when police units from the South Station in Pristina during patrols on the “Betish Grobeshi” in Hyvali stopped a car in which four suspects were located.
“During car control, 2 small bags filled with white powder, which is suspected of being a narcotic substance of cocaine (weighting 1.1 grams) and a small bag suspected of being a narcotic substance of marijuana (weight 1 gram). During the body control of one of the passengers has been found and seized a 7.65 mm calibre weapon and a bullet-free caricator”, the report says.
For those arrested, a 48-hour ban has been imposed.
The “in this case has been arrested four suspects, including the police officer and the same ones, have been assigned the 48-hour ban on suspicion that the same were committed by “Unauthorized possession of narcotics, psychotrope or analogo” (and unlicensed weapons to suspects from whom the fire weapon was confiscated) ”, said the report.
Regarding the same case, as part of administrative and investigative procedures, The IPK announced that the police official has been suspended.
“IPK and KP investigators in full co-ordination with the Prosecutor will continue to take further investigative actions towards full enlightenment of all the circumstances associated with this case”, the report said.
