Osman meets Bujanovac chairman, talk of facilitating citizenship procedures for citizens from Valley

“over the week, the president of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, hosted the mayor of the Bujanoc municipality, Arber Pajazitti, along with his team, who wished him more success in the task of representing the interests of the Bujanoc citizens. ”

The report says Osmani has “reconfirmed the dedication of institutions of the Republic of Kosovo to continue supporting Albanians living in Presevo, Bujanoc and Medvedja in realising their rights in line with the highest human rights standards”.

They have also talked about facilitating citizenship procedures for citizens from Medvedja, Presevo and Bujanovac.

Also, in this context, President and Chairman Pajaziti also discussed facilitating citizenship procedures for citizens from these municipalities, stressing the importance of addressing the challenges facing them. The mayor of Bujanovac thanked the president for raising the voice for the rights of Albanians in the Valley at all international forums, and also discussed a series of initiatives whereby Albanians can be supported in Presshes, Medvedja and Bujanoc. ”
