Today we commemorate the historic president's separation from life, Dr. Ibrahim Rugova, the leader who led Kosovo towards freedom and independence. As the idealist and founder of our state, Rugova remains a symbol of unity, tolerance and peace.
President Rugova targeted an independent Kosovo, with strong international friendship and democracy, always stressing that: “The house is not maintained without friends”
