With the regulation changed, he has said it is intended to offer solutions for the appointment of a new KPM chairman, after the current chairman, Jeton Mehmet, ends his mandate in three days, on January 20th.
“I think that we as the KPM should offer an election in order for the KPM to have chairman even after this date, and for that reason I propose changing labour regulation”, Berisha has said.
Berisha demanded that this point enter the agenda immediately.
He said this point is not intended for the dismissal of current KPM chairman Mehmeti.
“U launched today news on the media that the KPM has on schedule the dismissal of the KPM chairman. I am surprised how he received such news, because no one has planned the dismissal of the KPM chairman, nor does it make sense to download the KPM chairman three days without a deadline of”, he said.
However, according to current KPM chairman, Jeton Mehmeti said that changing the labour regulation with the aim of electing a new chairman is contrary to the KPM Law.
