The campaign is aimed at inviting all candidates for MPs from all political parties to join the KSF's proposal for the creation of “MP Group for Children” and to support policies focusing on the welfare of children.
The well-being of every child in Kosovo is an interparty issue and should be a priority for the Assembly,” KMF said in the official announcement, stressing that Kosovo's Assembly should be the main guarantor of the best potential for every child.
“Therefore, we call on MPs' candidates to become children's rights advocates, sign the Declaration that engages to support children in Kosovo, and with which they will be part of the “MP Group for Children”.
The group of deputies for Children is aimed at gathering deputies from different political parties, who share conviction that policies for children and families should be priorities.
Within the initiative, KOMF requires consensus and constructive co-operation between MPs and civil society, believing that “together we can achieve positive changes in policies for children and families”, it was said further in the statement.
