KMDLN this calls it a suspension from work according to double standards.
Council response:
The investigating policeman for high-profile corruption cases, Idriz Gashi, after serving more than 20 years in the Kosovo Police, was convicted of having participated in rallying a political party. Kosovo Police Director Gazmend Hoxha has ordered that Kosovo police do not participate in any assembly or election campaign of any political subject as if with no public presentation or through social networks to be identified with a party or political determination. According to KMDLNj of this ordinance is right and necessary to protect the Kosovo Police's bias from any party, political or interest groups for the fact that police are in defense of the order and law that are in the interest of all Kosovo citizens regardless of ethnic, political, age, gender, racial, cultural or status in society. In the meantime, police Officer Idriz Gashi has returned to work, has returned to the official weapon as well as to the identification badge that, according to KMDLNj, was the right act based on photos where Gashi's presence in a party rally is not proven after the lawyer and the police themselves had rejected the decision to suspend. Strangely the opinion, but not even the KMDLNj's, following the end of the work schedule, police Gashi had handed over another decision to a job suspension, without right opposition until an indefinite term. There are cases similar to the practice of KMDLNj police officers Gashi, where suspended parties have been forced to spend a long time before courts where they have even acquired innocence, compensated materially, but in terms of damage to their personal and family reputation, they have remained unexplored and constituted serious human rights violations and discrimination treatment. The employer (institution) eliminates workers he appreciates as stumbling them or for political reasons, even though they have no legal basis. They don't care if they damage the budget even if they're sure they miss it.
There is evidence that leaders of public companies or independent institutions have actively participated in political and party gatherings and have not retired from work. This presents an obvious case of selective implementation of disciplinary and punitive standards. KM DLNI has already demanded that an institutional mechanism be developed that would create conditions for moral and professional compensation of the accused or accused and prove innocence.
The KMDLNj which requires the Kosovo Police Inspectorate to maintain independence, impartiality and professionalism during making decisions and to do not submit to any political pressure or interest groups. The case of police officer Gashi KMDLNj treats it exclusively from the human rights aspect, stressing that these rights were violated during the resuscitation and denial of the right to opposition.
