A massive fire that spread as a result of strong winds has spread throughout the area known as Pacific Palisades of Los Angeles, where many American Shoebiz stars live.
Local authorities said about 30,000 residents received evacuation orders, while others were forced to abandon vehicles and walk because of blocked roads.
21 Although authorities could not provide an exact number of damaged facilities, the head of the Los Angeles fire department said about 10,000 houses are threatened by fire.
The fire fell after the storm of baptized winds called “Santa Anna” The National Meteorological Service warned that the storm could be the most powerful to hit southern California in more than a decade.
Officials claimed that the exact causes of the fire are still unknown and added that there are no currently injured persons.
The fire is expected to last for several days and is in danger of including areas that have been significantly affected by drought. /euronews
