In a post in the Instagram, she and her husband, actor and director Christopher Gust, and their children will start a fund to support our great <x0 city, our country and the wonderful people they live here”.
Curtis also said she is in contact with officials to determine where those funds should be directed to have the biggest impact.
She accompanied her post with a photo of the smoke rising over the famous Santa Monica stage.
Curtis is one of the film and television stars living in Pacific Palisades, an expensive area on the beach of Los Angeles, where a large fire, out of control, has erupted since Tuesday.
