The news of his death has revealed to his family members, indicating that Berisha died after a brief illness.
His burial will take place on 3 January in the Catholic cemetery in Pec.

Dear family and friends,
With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we announce that our dear father, Anton Berisha, today, on January 2nd, after a short illness, separated from this life, leaving behind an unimaginable void in our hearts.
Houses to be held tomorrow (3 January) between 9:00 and 12: 00 p.m., at the Catholic Church “St. Katarina” in Pec.
His burial will take place on January 3rd, at 1: 00 p.m., in the Catholic cemetery. While the view will be held on January 4th in the restaurant “Time 3”, downtown, from 09:00 till 2: 00 p.m.
