Shaqiri Bytyqi, police spokesman for the Prizren region, confirmed to “Justice Trust” that the victim was found Tuesday morning.
“With the date 14,01.2025, around 08:20, police have been informed that a citizen has observed a lifeless body on the River “Drini of Bardh” near the Rugova village bridge. Upon receiving this information, investigators from the Regional Investigation Sector in Prizren and officials from the Regional Directorate of the Gjakova Police have come to the scene, where they have observed a lifeless body. Following the investigation of the victim by the respective units, personal documentation on behalf of ArbaHISAR, DL.05.06.1998 and the clothes that were victimized were the same as the day it was reported missing from family members, so it is believed that the lifeless body is the upper victim”, Bytyqi said.
He announced that the state prosecutor has also been informed of the case.
