Payne was staying at the Casa Sur Hotel in South America when he fell to death after drug consumption on October 16th. The medical cause of his death has now been declared to be prolytrauma, a term meaning that a person has multiple traumatic injuries in his body.
A hearing hearing, for which the Buckinghamshire Research Court said it was held on December 17th, was said to take time to determine exactly how 31-year-old man died.
Five people were charged with Payne's death in Argentina after he fell from a third-floor balcony of the Casa Sur Hotel.
The hotel manager, a receptionist and Payne friend have been charged with murder by negligence, the National Criminal Prosecutor's Office of Argentina said earlier in a statement. They are reported to be hotel manager Gilda Martin, receptionist Esteban Grasse and Payne friend Roger Nores.
Two others have been charged with drug supplies.
