New York meeting with Kurti, Lajcak: We agreed that quick implementation of the alternative agreement

The European Union's minister for dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, has announced the meeting he has had with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti today.

Lajcak on the “X” platform wrote that at this meeting it was discussed for the road forward, towards normalisation.

“We agreed that there is no alternative but quick implementation of the agreement on the road to normalisation”, Lajcak wrote.

For the meeting held in New York, the Kosovo Prime Minister's Office has also announced.

The prime minister's office reports that Prime Minister Albin Kurti has told US State Department Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs James OʹBrien and the European Union's minister for the dialogue Miroslav Lajcak that Kosovo is committed to the process of normalising Kosovo-Serbia reports, according to the principles of the Central Brussels and the Ohrid Annex Agreement.

“Prime Minister Kurti also underlined his commitment to regional co-operation on the principles of representation and equal participation among the Western Balkan countries, and renewed commitment and constructive engagement in the process of normalisation between Kosovo and Serbia according to the principles of the Bazic Agreement and its Annex, which must be implemented in full”, becomes known in the announcement.
