Serbia's Deputy Prime Minister, Aleksandar Vulin, will meet with Russia's President Vladimir Putin on 4 September in Vladivostok, Russia, Russian President Yuri Usakov announced.
State news agency Beta quoted Usakov as saying that Vulini and Putin will meet at the Magnaries of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).
This forum will be held from 3 September to 6 September at the campus of Russia's Federal University of the Far East in Vladivostok.
Volin met with Yuri Usshakov, adviser to President Putin for foreign affairs, three weeks ago during an official visit to Moscow.
The Serbian government had then announced that Vulin had underlined that Serbia is the only country in Europe that has not imposed sanctions on Russia and that relations between the two countries have never been more sincere and meaningful.
Earlier in June, Voulin met in Moscow with Russia's Minister of Internal Affairs, Vladimir Colokoltsev, Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu, and Russia's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexander Grushka.
It was Volin's first official visit to Russia since being elected to the post of deputy prime minister of Serbia.
Vulin ʹ former director of the Security and Information Agency (BIA) is under sanctions from the United States, among other things, because of its ties to Russia. Since Moscow began its unprotested invasion of Ukraine over two years ago, it has visited Russia several times. /rel
