The decisions that are taken by officials who are in positions of duty can be contested by judicial institutions and considered illegal, according to the Public Officials Law. So said Alliance for the Future of Kosovo MP Besnik Tahiri.
At a media conference, Tahiri has said that maintaining these replace positions is contrary to the Law for Public Officials Article 35, which has entered into force for a year now.
“The timing of the function is limited to this law and there is no possibility with a legal act extending the mandate. Thus, we are in danger that all decisions signed by the UD can be rejected and may not produce a legal effect. I don't have anything to do with the proper names that carry taskkeepers but this practice on this mandate is destroying civil service and doing harm to the State Administration and questioning these” signatures, Tahiri said. /EO
