Kosovo Minister of Internal Affairs Xhelal Svecla has said the indictment filed by the Kosovo Special Prosecution against 45 people for the terrorist attack in Banjska is flawed if not included, the head of the Serbian Army and the commander of the Pasulanski Livade barracks.
He has said that their non-participation in the indictment entitles Serbia as directly involved in the attack.
Svechla said that in addition to the weapons given to this group, they have also conducted military exercises in the Serbian Army barracks.
The indictment for me is incomplete as it is not the commander of the Pasulanski Livade barracks, his deputy commander of Serbia's military. Lack of their involvement mandates Serbia as directly involved in the Banjska attack. It can't happen that all that military exercise takes place in an official barracks without the permission of Commander”, Svecla for Tv1 has said.
He has said that the limited indictment of individuals involved in the Banjska attack is strange.
On 11 September, the Kosovo Special Prosecution has filed charges against 45 people in charge of the attack on Banjska. They are accused of attacking Kosovo's constitutional order and money laundering.
The alleged terrorist group reportedly aimed at annexing northern Kosovo and joining it with Serbia.
